At Hindpool Nursery School we know that attending nursery regularly has a positive impact on learning and progress. It is very important that your child attends all their allocated sessions to get the maximum benefit from their time at Nursery.

When children are absent from Nursery School they miss out on lots of fun activities and can often feel unsettled when they return. It also means that they will be missing learning opportunities.

We expect at least a 90% attendance rate.

Lost days = Lost learning!

Always let us know as soon as possible if your child cannot attend nursery on 01229 833120.  We monitor the children’s attendance closely and staff will be in contact to ask for the reason your child has been absent if you have not already let us know.

Although we do not encourage it, if you must take a holiday in term time please let Mrs Jennie Marsland (Office Manager) or the headteachers Mrs Andrea Sweeting or Mr Pete Mills.
